DSEI is the largest fully integrated defence and security show in the world

Shuttleworth Collection & Airshows
The Collection is situated at Shuttleworth (Old Warden) Aerodrome, one of the few traditional all grass aerodromes still in regular use, (which is part of Old Warden Park Estate) and is displayed in eight hangars, which include a workshop hangar giving the visitor a chance to view restoration and maintenance in progress. There is also a vehicle section, displaying vintage and veteran cars, motorcycles and bicycles and, from a bygone era, the coach room with horse drawn carriages. The rural surroundings help to recreate a charismatic atmosphere and the feeling of stepping back into the 1920s/30s.
Twinwood Aviation Museum
Located on the former RAF Night Fighter Training Station, Twinwood Farm, close to the restored “Watch Office” and “Glenn Miller” Museum, housed in a section of the old Flight Office building, which was used as a Lecture Room, is the “Twinwood Aviation Museum”. The museum is funded maintained and staffed solely by volunteers who are aviation enthusiasts and dedicated to the cause of preserving our aviation heritage for future generations.
The museum was founded in January 2003, but the members have many years experience in the field of aviation archaeology and research. The main activity of the museum involves the research, location and when feasible recovery of crashed military aircraft of historical importance from the Second World War.
Thurleigh Museum - 306th Bombardment Group Museum
The building itself is of interest being one of the few remaining on the original airfield built during World War 2 .
A large collection of artifacts has been assembled to re-create the activities and atmosphere of the airfield and surrounding area during the war years. On entering the Museum visitors are greeted by both air and ground crews, along with the workhorse of those times, a 1942 Jeep.

After being voted the UK’s best free airshow for two years in a row by Airscene fans, Airbourne: Eastbourne International Airshow is back this year even bigger and better than ever, with not one but four Red Arrows displays to delight fans.
Wings & Wheels Dunsfold
Dunsfold Park Ltd founded Wings & Wheels to celebrate the long history of British aviation and motoring, it is also staged to raise much needed funds for charities. Since inception in 2005, the Show has helped raise some £280,000 for charity and each year hopes to raise even more.
Little Gransden Air & Car Show
Supporting the BBC Children in Need Appeal and local charities, the Little Gransden Air & Car Show will include over four hours of vintage and aerobatic flying displays, a vintage, veteran and classic vehicle rally plus numerous other attractions. The show has been running since 1992 and has raised well over over £165,000 for charity over the years.
Imperial War Museum Duxford
IWM Duxford is set within the spacious grounds of the famous former First and Second World War airfield. Lose yourself for a whole day wandering under and around some of the most iconic aircraft in the world and get hands-on with our award-winning interactive exhibitions. IWM Duxford is home to an impressive collection of over two hundred aircraft as well as tanks, military vehicles and boats.
Lympne Aero Classic weekend
Held at Lympne, near Hythe in Kent, recalls the fascinating and historic aviation activities that took place at the airfield from the first world war until it closed in the 1980s. There are several re-enactments throught the weekend, full size replica aircraft, classic vehicles, traders and several period singers.
Norfolk Old Buckenham Airshow
For over a decade the Old Buckenham Airshow has been a fixture on the aviation calendar. In addition to the air show there will be pleasure flights , hundreds of classic cars, military vehicles, funfair, live bands and extensive trade stalls. The proceeds go towards local charities.
RAF Burtonwood Association
Located 2 miles (3.2 km) northwest of Warrington in Lancashire, RAF Burtonwood hosts several small museums and displays related to the US Air Force activities during WW2. During World War II and the Cold War it was used by the United States Air Force and was also known as USAAF station 590.
Bottisham Airfield Museum
Located in the British Legion, Downing Close, Bottisham, CB25 9DD. The museum aims to bring to life the memory of the servicemen, aircraft and equipment who served at this airfield during ww2. It is open by appointment but has several public events throught the year. The airfield hosted the 361st Fighter Group, United States Eighth Air Force during the war.
Twinwood Festival & Glenn Miller Museum
Twinwood Festival is The Original & Best Vintage 1930s, 1940s & 1950s Music & Dance Festival and Glenn Miller Museum. Over the years thousands of people have visited the Control Tower to pay homage to this legendary musician and band leader and it has become somewhat of a shrine to his fans from around the world, and of course it is now the focal point of the incredible International Twinwood Festival.

Yorkshire Wartime Experience
The Yorkshire Wartime Experience is a unique opportunity to experience UK military history and enjoy a great family day out. Witness battles re-enacted in meticulous detail by respected living history groups, walk amongst 'British Tommies' of the First World War, 'GI Joes' from the beaches of Normandy, the Women’s Land Army of the Second World War and many other military history groups demonstrating what it was like to serve in the First World War, the 1940s and post-war conflicts. See some of the largest and rarest military vehicles both on static and moving display. The Yorkshire Wartime Experience Dance is to be held on the Saturday night of the event weekend. Rauceby War Weekend
is all about taking the area of Rauceby back in time to the 1940’s. Lincolnshire is renowned as being bomber county in WWII with all it’s numerous airfields and Rauceby played a big part, having stationed one of the WW2 RAF hospitals. Operation Frying Pan
Cleethorpes is once again host to one of the country’s leading 1940’s re-enactment events - Operation Fryinfg Pan. This event aims to bring wartime britain to today's public and is a fantastic day out for all the family. EVENT-CALENDAR Entry.
Woodhall Spa 1940s Weekend
In Jubilee park visitors will be able to see authentic wartime displays by living history groups. There will also be live entertainers performing at different times and locations across Woodhall during the festival. Military and classic vehicle will be on display.
Over 2,000 re-enactors and performers bring two millennia of history to life through stunning combat displays, thrilling battle re-enactments and a host of interactive experiences. Gladiators, redcoats, and the Roman Imperial Army will be among the returning favourites at the event, which will also feature breathtaking displays of skill and valour from clashing knights on horseback in the Grand Medieval Joust and of bravery from Allied soldiers storming the beaches of Normandy.
Lacock at War
Our idea is to bring the village alive by stepping back in time. You can expect to see an array of Military Vehicles, both old and new. We will also have living history groups, who will be set up on the field and parading through the Lacock Village streets. There will be 1940's entertainers to top off this fantastic 1940's event held in Lacock which has not changed much since the 1940's.
The Victory Show is a formidable tribute to World War 2. The Show runs for 3 days in September. Held over a 100 acre site, the Victory Show provides Historical Societies and re-enactments through various forces from several era's and theatres during the period of 1939-45.

Curragh Military Vehicle Show
The Annual MVCI Curragh Military Vehicle Show takes place at the Curragh race Course in County Kildare, Ireland each May. There are normally over 100 vehicles on display and crowds of up to 10,000 are expected. There is a huge range of attractions for all ages from Tanks, to Half Tracks to Motorbikes. Solent Overlord Executive Military Collectors Club
The lineage of the club stretches back over 40 years to the founding of the Military Vehicle Conservation Group (MVCG) in 1968, by a group of WW2 military vehicle enthusiasts based in Worthing. Wicksteed At War
Is the Midlands premier military history show for the whole family. Each year the event become larger and more varied. History On Wheels Museum
The Museum was first opened to the public in 1980, and as the name implies, within this Museum can be found a truly unique collection of Motors, both Military and Civilian, Militaria, from 1900 to the 1950’s, from all conflicting Nations, and Memories, illustrating artefacts of all types from both the civilian and wartime home fronts.
The Northern Military Vehicle and Vintage Club (NMVVC).
Has interests not only in military vehicles, but also military history, weapons and equipments and the ever increasing popularity of living history re-enactment. Norfolk Tank Museum
Situated in the idyllic Norfolk countryside is our small, independent museum of Cold War militaria. The Collection, started by Stephen MacHaye in 1987, contains four Main Battle Tanks, armoured personnel carriers and an impressive arsenal of small arms, military memorabilia and uniforms. It is a 'not-for-profit' organisation, all money raised is spent on the continuing refurbishment and modernisation of our grounds and the restoration and expansion of the collection.

The Alvis Fighting Vehicle Society & Birmingham West Midlands Area MVT are pleased to announce their continued partnership for the Tanks, Trucks & Firepower Show. In addition military vehicles and re-enactment groups of all periods will be on display combined with a separate soft skin arena. There will be food stalls, a beer tent, fairground attractions, mini tank rides for all the kids, militaria stalls and so much more. A great day out for all the family.
Cobbaton Combat Collection

The Victoria Cross Trust
It is a general misconception that graves of men awarded the Victoria Cross are looked after and protected by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Only those VC's that were killed on the battlefields during the First and Second World Wars are commemorated either with a grave or a memorial. The trust refurbishes those graves not looked after by the War Graves Commission and is supported only by donations.
Wiltshire Armed Forces and Veterans Celebaration
This celebaration weekend is now regarded by the MOD as one of the top ten regional Armed Forces events in the UK. A celebration and memorial to the UK's armed forces. Many attractions in addition to military organisations including dog handling displays, veterans parades, military vehicles, aircraft fly pasts, 1940's music, military choir, bands, re-enactment events and reenactors, kids activities such as bouncy castles etc. and regular army stalls.
Turn To Starboard - Military Charity
The objective of Turn to Starboard is to provide team led watersports opportunities for Service personnel who have experienced Operations. Our long term goal is to raise sufficient funds to purchase yachts, until then we provide access to watersports and assist those achieving the same aim. This in turn will aid resettlement in prospective employment and forge new friendships in order they never feel alone.

Jeremy Banning - Freelance Military Historian & Researcher
Is a regular visitor to schools, giving talks and workshops on the Great War. These can vary from a general talk on a typical day in the life of a British Tommy to various specialist subjects as requested. He is currently visiting schools as part of the ‘Heritage Schools’ programme provided by English Heritage. He can provide props to illustrate many aspects of frontline life to students and is happy speaking to students from Year 5 upwards.
Our highly acclaimed small-group all-inclusive tours to the Western Front Battlefields of 1914 to 1918 and Normandy 1944 are designed to be especially suited for those who prefer to be a member of a small party with shared interests in a relaxed and informal atmosphere and to be fully escorted with experienced battlefield tour guides.

Ecosse Battlefield Tours is a Scottish based company conducting regular tours direct from Scotland to the Somme, Flanders and Arras and battlefields of the Western Front. They also organise bespoke tours to the D-Day beaches of Normandy and Arnhem in the Netherlands, Verdun, the Argonne and the St Mihiel Salient. All our coach tours start and finish in Scotland.
